Austin-area weddings
I regularly drive up I-35 for weddings between San Antonio and Austin. One venue I recommend often is Thistlewood Manor & Gardens in Kyle, with French-inspired architecture, marble floors and a grand staircase inside, and gardens that photograph beautifully in almost any light.
Whether you're marrying in Austin proper, Dripping Springs or Wimberley, packages are the same, with no travel fees within Texas.

Yes. I cover weddings in Austin and along the I-35 corridor, including venues like Thistlewood Manor & Gardens in Kyle. Full-day packages include a second photographer and there's no travel fee within Texas.
When is the best light for Hill Country wedding portraits?
The hour before sunset. Midday Texas sun is harsh and hot, so I plan couple portraits for golden hour and use shade, porches and tree cover for family photos earlier in the day.
How do you handle heat and weather at outdoor venues?
We build the timeline around it: shaded spots for formals, short portrait sessions with water breaks, and an indoor or covered backup for every outdoor location in case of rain.
How much does Hill Country wedding photography cost?
Coverage is $250 per hour, or $2,000 for a full 10-hour day with a second photographer included. Keepsakes and videography are available as add-ons.
